We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Team Member / cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation and food safety practices while contributing to a fast paced kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality food and service
Duties
Preparation of sandwiches, hot rolls and hot & cold meals
Fill vending machines
Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Must be able to work on their own initiative and as Part of a team
Help with preparing food ingredients for sister company
Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow within the kitchen.
Maintain a clear working environment
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.
Ability to work effectively on their own initiative
Strong communication skills
Good customer service skill essential
Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed, including catering duties.
A genuine passion for food and cooking, with a desire to develop culinary skills further.
