Cook & Server (Full-Time - 32+ hours per week, 14/hr + Tips)

Location: The Rendezvous Cafe, Inverness

We're looking for a passionate Cook & Server to join our friendly team at The Rendezvous Cafe -- a well-loved local spot known for great breakfasts, brunches, and a warm vintage-cinema atmosphere - for a permanent role .

This is a hands-on role in an open kitchen, so confidence in your cooking and presentation is essential. You'll take pride in preparing fresh, tasty dishes and supporting service on the floor when needed -- working as part of a small, close-knit team that runs on teamwork, humour, and great coffee.

What You'll Do

Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch dishes with consistency and care. Support front-of-house service when needed -- we work as one team. Maintain a clean, organised kitchen following food safety and hygiene standards. Help with stock checks, deliveries, and waste reduction. Bring your ideas and passion for good food to our seasonal menus. Stay calm, friendly, and professional during busy service times.
What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years' experience in a cafe, bistro, or restaurant kitchen. Strong breakfast and brunch skills -- eggs, plating, speed, and timing. Friendly, reliable, and a real team player. Good communication and attention to detail. A positive attitude and pride in your work.
Formal culinary qualifications are great, but genuine experience and passion matter most.

14 per hour + tips At least 32 hours per week (full-time, daytime shifts) Weekend and holiday availability required
