We are seeking a passionate and skilled Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in meal preparation and food safety, As a cook, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen and ensuring that all meals and buffets are prepared with care and attention to detail.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient workflow during service times.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
Skills
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, including meal preparation and cooking methods.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices within a restaurant environment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
