Stainers Bakery is a traditional family bakery and tea room that has been serving the community since 1899. We pride ourselves on our beautifully baked fresh daily bread, rolls, and morning goods, alongside a large selection of sandwiches, cakes, pastries, and hot snacks.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cook /Shop Assistant to join our team at Stainers Bakery in Bishops Waltham. IWe require an individual who can perform in a busy fast paced environment who show good organisational skills. Our menu includes paninis,cooked breakfasts, breakfast baps,and will include the use of a griddle. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation for quality and service.

Days Required

Thursdays and Fridays 08.00-1600 ans Saturdays 0800-16.30

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area. Opening and closing the shop. Prepare and serve food items according to established standards. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide information about menu items and daily specials to customers. Managing stock rotation/ordering. Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Able to use a griddle. Have some knowledge in food preparation and hygiene is essntial Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual abilities (English and Spanish preferred) are a plus. Previous experience in retail or food service is advantageous but not required. A friendly demeanor with a passion for food and baking.
