Mastercopy is a long-established North East business specialising in copiers, print, IT services and document management solutions. We look after organisations across the region and beyond, from small businesses through to larger multi-site customers.
We're growing, investing in new technology and looking for a driven Sales Executive to help bring new customers on board and look after the ones we already have.
The role
This is a field-based sales role focused on selling copiers, print and related solutions into businesses. You'll be out meeting people, understanding how their offices actually run day to day, and showing them how we can save them time, money and hassle.
You'll have the backing of an experienced technical and support team, but this role is very much about you building relationships, spotting opportunities and closing deals.
What you'll be doing
Visiting prospective and existing customers to understand their print and document needs.
Selling a range of copier and print solutions, including managed print and related services.
Following up leads, making outbound calls and developing your own pipeline through networking and prospecting.
Preparing proposals and quotes that match what the customer actually needs, not just what is easiest to sell.
Presenting solutions in a straightforward, confident way, whether that is at a customer's site or over Teams.
Negotiating pricing and agreement terms within agreed margins.
Working closely with our operations and technical teams to make sure installations go smoothly and customers are looked after after the sale.
Keeping notes up to date in our CRM and staying on top of your own diary, callbacks and follow-ups.
What you'll bring
Proven experience in B2B sales or customer-facing roles. Copier / MFD / print or IT sales experience would be ideal, but it isn't essential.
Confidence talking to business owners, managers and IT teams and asking the right questions.
A genuine interest in how businesses work and where we can add value, not just "shift boxes".
Self-motivation and resilience. You are comfortable working to targets and managing your own pipeline.
Good organisation and basic IT skills for email, CRM, proposals and using our internal systems.
Full UK driving licence.
If you have specific experience selling copiers, managed print or office technology already, we definitely want to hear from you. If you are a strong salesperson from another B2B background and you are happy to learn the products, we are open to that too.
