Every day is different and, alongside maintaining and developing our existing tone of voice, youxe2x80x99ll write and edit copy across all print and digital touch points. This includes, but is not limited to, menus; mailers; website copy; multi-channel campaign assets, B2B materials and back-of-house training materials.Your job responsibilities will include:xe2x97x8f The delivery of all copy requirements for the restaurantsxe2x80x99 team including but not limited to dish names; marketing materials; press releases; video scripts; packaging and internal documents; and one-off publications, such as handbooks and brochuresxe2x97x8f Make sure all content meets the brief, our brand standards and company objectivesxe2x97x8f Act as a guardian for all of our different brands, ensuring consistency in tone of voice across all written collateralxe2x97x8f Regularly write and edit external comms for our UK and global restaurantsxe2x97x8f Regularly write internal comms for JOR team senior leadershipxe2x97x8f Maintain and evolve tone of voice guidelines and empower non-editorial team members, franchise partners, and freelancers to use tone of voice accurately, conducting regular spot-checks on content and providing feedback where neededxe2x97x8f Assist in the creation of new restaurant concepts, supporting on all editorial mattersxe2x97x8f Manage menu creation, including reviewing recipes/spec banks and working with chefs on dish names; editing menu change documents; coordinating feedback; making editorial changes directly into spreadsheets or InDesign files; and marking up PDFs for designersxe2x97x8f Build and maintain strong relationships with marketing, operations, chefs, PR and management teams, in order to create best-in-class contentxe2x97x8f Collaborate closely and creatively with marketing and design on briefsxe2x97x8f Interrogate said briefs to ensure you and the in-house designers have all the necessary information to deliver the required assets to a high standard and on schedulexe2x97x8f Collate feedback from key stakeholders on designed assets when needed.xe2x97x8f Write and review scripts, providing feedback on filmed assets when neededxe2x97x8f Manage freelance support, as requiredxe2x97x8f Support with the creation and maintenance of brand concept packs and assist in creating tenders and presentations for potential new partnersxe2x97x8f Apply wider business and cultural considerations to all restaurant collateralxe2x97x8f Experience working in editorial is essentialxe2x97x8f Youxe2x80x99re a creative wordsmith with a sensitive ear for tone, and a portfolio demonstrating your ability to write copy for different mediums including long- and short-form, B2B and B2Cxe2x97x8f With a wealth of experience in juggling multiple projects, you communicate clearly about workload and prioritiesxe2x97x8f Digitally savvy, you take to new systems easily and are preferably Mac, Google, Adobe Reader and InDesign literatexe2x97x8f Youxe2x80x99ll have food editing or cooking experience xe2x80x94 youxe2x80x99re confident spotting errors in recipes and crafting tempting dish descriptionsxe2x97x8f Experience working with menu change documents and spec banks is advantageous but not essentialxe2x97x8f You may have worked in hospitality and have an understanding of the different copy touchpoints in the industryxe2x97x8f You are skilled at building relationships, both internally and externallyxe2x97x8f You might have a good base of Jamie knowledge already, but if you donxe2x80x99t youxe2x80x99re happy to immerse yourself in his books and TV shows to get up to speed quickly.What we offer in return:
