THE ROLE OVERVIEW



We're looking for a versatile Copywriter to shape how Montagu Evans tells its story. You'll turn complex ideas into simple, compelling narratives that bring our brand, values, and expertise to life. From social posts and newsletters to op-eds, press features, and thought leadership, your words will cut through and connect with audiences.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Brand, Marketing, and BD--as well as directly with our fee earners and designers--to create content that's clear, engaging, and on-brand. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, ownership, and opportunities to see your ideas make a real impact.

Responsibilities:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES



Write, edit, and proof content across channels: website, social media, newsletters, email campaigns, press releases, and internal communications. Collaborate with fee earners to develop thought leadership, client-facing content, and commentary. Contribute to campaign and content strategies that align with business objectives and brand positioning. Develop content from concept to draft, ensuring materials remain fresh, relevant, and aligned with business priorities. Partner with external collaborators (e.g., media contacts, NLA) to co-create or amplify content. Help refine and embed our tone of voice, ensuring consistency across the firm. Support day-to-day content operations, including managing requests, approvals, and shared inboxes.

Qualifications:

ABOUT YOU



1-3 years' experience in copywriting, content creation, or communications (professional services experience advantageous but not essential). Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and formats. Experience producing content for both digital and print. Highly organised, with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines. Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and translating technical concepts into engaging narratives. * Familiarity with CMS platforms, email marketing systems, and social media tools.
