The Manchester office combines with our offices in London and Southampton to give a broad and deep real estate capability across the sector. There is strong collaboration with teams in London and Southampton with matters being resourced seamlessly between our three UK offices, drawing on different practices and skills in our various locations.



Through a mixture of new technology and innovative working methods, we are able to offer our clients an efficient, cost effective and tailored service. You will have the opportunity to work on complex and high value transactions in a flexible and fast-paced environment.



Working with team members in Manchester, Southampton and London, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications (e.g. MR01/MR04, PN1, OS and SIM searches), including processing complex registrations and bulk applications. Drafting and reviewing legal documents such as leases, agreements for lease, licences, wayleave agreements, easements, rent deposit deeds, and basic sale contracts under supervision. Conducting title investigations, reviewing Official Copies, and identifying restrictions on title. Completing SDLT forms via Landscape, liaising with clients for confirmation and payment arrangements. Performing property searches using platforms such as Search Acumen and interpreting standard search results. Carrying out basic Companies House and insolvency checks, tenancy verification, and document reviews. Managing data rooms and coordinating disclosure of key property documents in acquisitions and financings. Supporting transaction management including arranging execution via DocuSign, coordinating completion deliverables, and assisting with post-completion tasks. Engaging in client communication, including taking notes during calls, circulating actions, and liaising with opposing counsel. Applying foundational legal knowledge including LRA 2002, LTA 1927 & 1988, LP(MP)A 1989, and VAT principles relevant to real estate.



Skills and experience required:

We are looking for someone with existing Paralegal experience obtained in the field of Real Estate law. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who may have gained experience of some of the above responsibilities and who is now looking to develop those skills further.
