Who we are looking for

As a member of the Corporate Actions team, you will ensure timely and accurate booking of income and Corporate Action events, with responsibility for the generation and execution of instructions to Custodians and Third parties.

You will also liaise with Front Office staff by notifying mandatory events and requesting decisions for voluntary events.

The base

You\'ll be based at our Broadlands Business Campus near Horsham in West Sussex. It\'s home to our EMEA Operations and Technology Operations hub.
It has the same high standards and international reputation as our HQ in the City of London, without being in the city: a big, countryside campus (and no commute on the Tube) means life will feel a little different.

What you\'ll do

• Responsible for the daily booking of income (cash dividends, interest payments, redemptions)
• Instructing the Custodian with tax rates/quantities for US dividends (tax allocation)
• Daily handling of exceptions on dividend events from Refinitiv
• Dally handling of General Meetings from Refinitiv
• Validating CA notifications in IActs received from Custodians and notifying Front staff
• Ensuring timely instructions to Custodians/ TPC Global Custodians for voluntary Corp Actions (tender offer, mergers, DRIPs, etc.)
• Responsibility for CA deadline monitoring and booking of events
• Independently resolving Corp Actions and Income related enquiries
• Handling proxy voting (AGM, EGM and other meetings) at Custodians or Service Providers
• Verifying that all future dividend events (for dividend accruals) are correctly captured in T24 (monthly)
• Ensuring that all workflows comply with internal and external requirements
• Maintaining and developing active relationship with RMs, PMs & Custodians
• Immediately reporting and documenting any potential Risk Event
• Conducting UAT activities

The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need

• Experience within a global Corporate Actions
• IT user skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and core banking applications
• Good at analysing and solving problems with a strong handle on operational risk
