to help grow income from local businesses, community organisations and individual donors. This role will focus on building strong relationships, identifying new fundraising opportunities, and supporting the delivery of key fundraising events.

Key Responsibilities
Corporate Fundraising
Research and identify local companies and organisations that may support LinkAble.
Make approaches, follow up leads, and pitch for financial and in-kind support.
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners, ensuring they feel valued and informed about the impact of their support.
Create partnership proposals, presentations, and tailored fundraising materials.
Community Fundraising
Build relationships with community groups, schools, and local organisations to encourage their support for LinkAble.
Represent LinkAble at local events, presentations, and networking opportunities.
Support individuals and groups organising their own fundraising activities.
Stewardship of existing supporters so we build long term relationships.
Event Management
Plan and deliver fundraising events such as our
annual Inclusive Games
,
Curry Night
, and
festive events
.
Work with a partner to deliver Golfing events attending by high net worth individuals.
Work with colleagues and volunteers to ensure events run smoothly and raise vital funds.
Evaluate events and use insights to improve future activity.
General
Maintain accurate records of contacts and income using LinkAble's Donorbase (Beacon)
Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote fundraising campaigns.
Represent LinkAble in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Be available to work occasional evenings and weekends for events and presentations.
Required Skills and Experience
Proven experience raising funds from companies, community groups, or major donors
Strong understanding of the charity sector and corporate social responsibility (CSR)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
Creative approach to engaging and inspiring supporters
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Good IT skills, including use of donor databases and Microsoft Office
Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a small team
Willingness to travel locally and occasionally work outside normal hours
