Our client is a leading Sussex law firm, delivering a broad range of legal services to businesses, individuals and institutions. Their Corporate & Commercial team is well regarded (ranked in Chambers / sector guides) and handles a varied portfolio of transactional and advisory matters.
The role:
You will be a key member of the Corporate & Commercial team, working with clients across owner-managed businesses, SMEs and corporates. Duties include:
Advising on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations
Drafting and negotiating share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, commercial contracts
Conducting due diligence, structuring deals, corporate governance advice
Supporting internal teams on regulatory, compliance or corporate structuring matters
Liaising with clients, accountants, banks, other advisors
Assisting in business development / client relationship work
About you:
Qualified fee-earner or solicitor with experience in corporate / M&A / commercial
Comfortable with transactional work and advisory structures
Strong drafting, negotiation and commercial awareness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and client relationship skills
Based in or near the Worthing / Horsham area
