Great ideas come from different minds. That's why we bring together engineers, scientists, analysts, and creatives from every background -- and give them the trust, tools, and freedom to make a difference. What connects us is the mission: solving meaningful problems and building capability that protects what matters most.

And as the challenges evolve, so do we -- working on the technologies that will shape tomorrow, not just today.

Corporate Finance Manager

Supporting the Investment Director, you'll relish the chance to utilise your experience in transactional work such as Corporate Finance or Transaction Services whilst interacting with stakeholders at all levels, without having to compromise your integrity. You will be excited about the opportunities to work client side and to broaden your experience including assisting in building out an ecosystem that encourages partnership and collaborative working.

Because it's not about hiding away from numbers; it's an opportunity to broaden your skills whilst working in a fast-paced Defence market. You'll be closer to the decision making, helping deliver acquisitions and other inorganic opportunities that genuinely make a difference.

Roke is a leading technology & engineering company with clients spanning National Security, Defence and Intelligence. You will work alongside our customers to solve their complex and unique challenges.

As a Corporate Development Manager, you will be ensuring transactions are moved forwards in a timely fashion. Your involvement will be from the very start. Performing initial analysis and research, following through to completion whilst managing multiple senior stakeholders and problem solving at every turn.

The Key Requirements

Proven analytical skills with an ability to demonstrate business acumen. Exposure and experience in financial modelling and data analytics tools. Project management experience within a M&A focused environment with either an advisory or due diligence background. Able to show history of building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels whilst working in a small team. Resilient approach to working with an understanding of the ebbs and flows of transactional based work. An understanding of a technology focused sector or a desire to learn. It would be a bonus if this was Defence or National Security.

Built over a 60-year heritage, Roke offers specialist knowledge in sensors, communications, cyber, and AI and ML. We change the way organisations think and act - through dynamic insights from the analysis of multiple layers of data. We take care of the innovative, technical stuff that keeps everyone safe - that's our mission, passion, and motivation.

With us you'll enjoy the variety, breadth and development working in a small M&A team has to offer, whilst still maintaining an excellent working environment.
