to help us grow our income, build lasting relationships with corporate supporters. This role involves developing strategic partnerships, preparing compelling bid proposals, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a vital part in expanding our organisation's reach and securing new opportunities through effective bid management and partnership development.

Job Title: Corporate Partnerships & Bid Writing Officer Location: Office Based, Chester-le-Street office Reports to: Reporting to: Head of Fundraising, Marketing & Events, with a secondary reporting line to the Project Manager for coordination on bid & grant writing. Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week Contract: Fixed term to 31st March 2027 (with a view to Permanent Position)

Duties



You will play a key role in securing funding to sustain and expand our vital services. This includes:

Identify and develop new corporate partnership opportunities aligned with organisational objectives Prepare, review, and submit high-quality bid proposals to secure funding and project opportunities Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and stakeholders to foster ongoing collaboration Utilise CRM software, including Monday.com, to track interactions, manage contacts, and monitor bid progress Coordinate internal teams to gather necessary information for bids and proposals Conduct market research to identify potential partners and funding sources Monitor industry trends and best practices related to partnership development and bid writing Ensure compliance with organisational policies and funding requirements throughout the bidding process

Proven experience in bid writing, proposal development, or partnership management Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent written communication skills, capable of crafting persuasive proposals and reports Proficiency in CRM software; experience with Monday.com is desirable Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with diverse stakeholders Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market insights effectively Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving problems A genuine commitment to supporting our mission and values
