Salary c\xc2\xa335,000 per annum + Great benefits including 30 days holiday plus bank holidays

London/Hybrid Working - 1 day in the Office

My client is a leading national non-profitable organisation, they currently have an exciting opportunity to join them in the newly created role of Corporate Partnerships Officer, the charity is going from strength to strength, so this is an exciting time to join them in this key role.

The charity has launched three high value, multi-year corporate partnerships in the last 18 months and there is huge potential to work with local charities around the country to build engaging propositions, to create both national and local impact. This is a role where you will make a big difference to thousands of young people.

Reporting to the Corporate Partnerships Manager, this is a Hybrid based role with a requirement of working a minimum of 1 day per week in the London office and the remaining days working from home.

The Corporate Partnerships Officer will support the delivery of sustainable growth in corporate income to the charity. Delivering the Corporate Engagement programme so that there is a sustainable and diverse audience-appropriate programme of fundraising engagement and activity.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role working with a non-profit organisation.

Key responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for delivering an agreed income target, with support from the Corporate Partnerships Manager through the effective management and growth of the Corporate Partnerships programme.
  • To develop and account manage new and existing corporate supporters.
  • To contribute to the Strategic Partnerships budgeting process and, within that, monitor and manage the Corporate Partnerships budget, including income and expenditure.
  • To work effectively with colleagues within the Strategic Partnerships team and wider Fundraising team, as well as other internal teams - including Communications, Campaigns, Research and Policy team colleagues - in order to identify and develop opportunities to engage with potential and established corporate supporters.
Experience Required:
  • A professional background in charity fundraising
  • Knowledge of trends, techniques, best practices and legal requirements in relation to fundraising through corporate partnerships.
  • Minimum of a years\' experience and proven track record in fundraising or equivalent sales/marketing post.
  • Proven experience of engaging with corporate partners to secure financial support
  • Experience of account handling/customer service.
  • Excellent networking, influencing and negotiating skills
  • Proven ability to engage with service delivery functions to support fundraising and championing corporate partnerships within a charity.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to be used across the board, whether developing proposals, monitoring results and targets, producing reports for senior colleagues or partners etc.
  • Organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise workload, manage time and meet deadlines
  • Collaborative team player with a willingness to share knowledge and learning openly to create understanding and support.
