We\'re excited to be continuing our close partnership with a well-respected public sector organisation based in Nottingham. Due to the exciting expansion plans, our client is seeking a Corporate Programme Manager to lead the build and development of the new PMO department.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to \xc2\xa350,000, hybrid working, enhanced pension scheme and many more benefits.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work with the ICT management team to ensure effective and proactive management of the ICT Change management process within an organisational context, through the analysis and translation of the varying requirements of all stakeholders
  • Oversee the delivery of all projects and programmes across the company as defined within the annual delivery plan, on behalf of the Strategic Leadership Team (SLT)
  • Establish and manage of robust governance and assurance processes with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope, facilitating full realisation of the defined benefits to the organisation
  • Work with the Service\'s Business Architect and other subject matter experts to manage business analysis and business process reengineering activities across the Service
  • Train, coach and guide other managers with regards to the project and programme management processes, procedures, and related activities
Skills & Experience:
  • Background in project management, both in individual projects and show evidence of involvement of engagement in larger team projects
  • Full UK driving licence essential
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, including ICT focused projects around system implementation, migrations and governance
  • An understanding of the project management principles of PRINCE2 or similar
  • In depth knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including LEAN principles
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft business products such as Office, SharePoint, Skype etc
  • Willing to have a DBS check processed
