5 Days in the office. Shift Pattern from 7:30am - 6pm
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for THREE passionate, organised and people-oriented Front of House professionals to join a highly prestigious investment management firm in the City of London. Working as part of the Front of House and Events team, you will be the face of the firm, acting as the first point of contact for clients, both in person and over the phone. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same. You will be at the heart of the office, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for every visitor and colleague. Duties of the Front of House and Events Assistant to include:

  • Front of House: Serve as the primary point of contact for all incoming calls and visitors, providing a professional and welcoming reception service.
  • Client & Visitor Services: Act as the face of the company by providing a professional meet-and-greet service and managing a busy switchboard.
  • Meeting & Events Management: Take full ownership of the room booking process, including coordinating details, arranging catering, and liaising with IT and facilities.
  • Hospitality & Support: Prepare, present, and serve food and beverages for clients and events, ensuring all client areas are maintained to a high standard.
  • Operational Excellence: Process catering approvals, assist with event coordination in Rathbone Hall, and support daily administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements for the successful Front of House and Events Assistant to include:
  • Candidates must have at least 1 year's experience working in hospitality, preferably luxury corporate services
  • Exceptional Communication: You are a positive and effective communicator, capable of building and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Service-Oriented Mindset: You are dedicated to providing an outstanding level of service and are proactive in your approach.
  • Strong Organisational Skills: You can manage your time effectively, work calmly under pressure, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a detail-driven environment.
  • Proactive & Flexible: You are adaptable, able to take the initiative, and are committed to your own professional development.
