We're looking for a

Corporate Support Supervisor

to lead our dedicated team in delivering high-quality accounting and corporate services to our customers across the EMEA region.

In this key role, you'll oversee day-to-day departmental operations ensuring smooth workflows, consistent performance, and continuous improvement. You'll combine hands-on accounting expertise with supportive leadership to create a motivated, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.

What will I do:



As

Corporate Support Supervisor

, you'll play a central role in managing operations, developing your team, and maintaining excellence in service delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:

Managing daily workloads, allocating resources, and monitoring progress to meet departmental deadlines. Leading, motivating, and developing a team that values collaboration, inclusion, and individual growth. Providing coaching, feedback, and support to encourage continuous professional development. Conducting performance reviews and identifying learning opportunities for improvement. Promoting cross-training and succession planning to strengthen team flexibility and knowledge sharing. Overseeing key accounting processes -- transaction entries, journal postings, VAT returns, and financial statements. Supporting financial consolidation, corporate tax reporting, and other key accounting activities. Reviewing and improving departmental procedures, ensuring efficiency and compliance. Liaising with other departments to ensure balanced workloads and smooth company-wide operations. Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members. Approving timesheets and time-off requests in line with company policy. Communicating clearly and transparently with all stakeholders, including senior management. Performing monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closures and administrative reporting tasks.

What We're Looking For:



Accounting qualification (full or part-qualified) -

AAT Level 4

preferred; Level 3 or equivalent will be considered. Previous experience in a

leadership or supervisory role

. Background in

accounting, finance, or corporate services

. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking. Effective communication - both verbal and written. Confidence in delegation, motivation, and decision-making. Proactive problem-solver with a commitment to continuous improvement. Ability to balance operational priorities with strategic objectives. Strong proficiency in

Microsoft Office

(Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with

SAP or Sage

accounting software is desirable.

This is

not a remote position.

Applicants

to our South Woodham Ferrers office.
The location is commutable from

Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Chelmsford

, and surrounding areas

by car, bus, or train

Hybrid working (3 office days per week) will be available

after passing probation

What are my hours of work?



Non-peak Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm Peak (last working day and first 4 working days of the month) Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
