Job Description

This position seeks a Corporate Tax Manager to join the Tax department in a leading professional services firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients.

Business acquisitions and sales, SPA's, tax covenants
Mergers, demergers and reorganisations
Share buy backs/purchase of own shares and multiple completion contracts
Share for share exchanges
Tax advantaged share schemes eg EMI share options
Venture capital schemes eg EIS/SEIS
R&D and Creative Industries tax relief claims (including video games tax reliefs)
Capital allowances
Intangible assets
Tax efficient profit extraction

A successful Corporate Tax Manager should have:

A strong background in corporate tax.
Excellent technical tax knowledge.
Proven experience in a client-facing role within a professional services firm.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
ATT or CTA qualification (or equivalent accounting qualification).
A proactive approach to problem-solving.
The ability to contribute to business development activities.
