Role Overview
This senior position provides the opportunity to lead key client relationships and oversee the delivery of complex tax projects that will influence the future direction of our tax practice. Working closely with partners and senior leaders, you will help develop and execute strategies that support client success and business growth, while also providing guidance and support to the general practice team.
This autonomous role carries responsibility for managing projects, maximising fee income, identifying new business opportunities, controlling work-in-progress, and managing billing for services rendered.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering high-quality advisory services including M&A transactions, tax due diligence, share option schemes, restructures, reorganisations, succession and exit planning such as company buybacks, capital reductions, and MBOs.
Conduct technical compliance reviews of corporation tax computations prepared by the team.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for additional service offerings.
Keep abreast of tax legislative changes and share updates with clients and the team to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.
Contribute to the strategic growth of the corporate tax department through business development initiatives and process improvements.
Represent the practice at client meetings, industry conferences, and in business development efforts.
Ideally, have some familiarity or experience with personal tax, VAT, and Stamp Duty/Stamp Duty Land Tax.

Salary
49,630.95 - 70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
