About this role



The CoSec Senior Associate is a key role in ensuring the effective and reliable administration and decision-making of our companies. You will interact on a regular basis with Blackstone asset managers and finance, tax and legal teams, Luxembourg corporate officers, cosec and governance teams, UK portfolio companies and third party administrators.

How you will add value



You will be involved in :

Providing company secretarial services for a range of UK registered and UK tax resident real estate companies; Assisting with the management and delivery of services by company secretarial and administrative service providers; Assisting with governance matters for UK companies including, but not limited to, the Register of Overseas Entities, Director Identity Verification and other statutory requirements; Assisting with Companies House filings;. Closely collaborating with cosec and corporate administration teams in Luxembourg and India; Arranging and conducting board meetings, shareholders meetings, agendas, board papers and minutes; Supporting on the company secretarial and administrative elements of corporate reorganisations, events and transactions; Incorporating new companies relating to real estate and M&A projects as well as integration of acquired companies; Supporting liquidation and strike off of entities, closely collaborating with the Liquidations Team; and Helping to maintain the company database and assisting with the digital archiving process.

What you bring to the role



Required:



Qualified chartered secretary or qualified solicitor; Minimum of 4 years' experience in company administrative matters; The ability to engage confidently with boards and challenge recommendations/request further information where required; Knowledge of MS Office and ability to work with legal technology solutions; Ability to work hard and effectively under pressure; Ability to prioritise different demands and to ensure responses to tight timeframes; Good analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with Senior Management; and Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Advantageous:



Previous exposure to Project Review and Project Management; and Willingness to travel, in particular to Luxembourg.
