We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Cosmetic Inspector to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills in the ever-changing automotive industry, working with an array of brands, including working with hybrid and EV.

About the role:

Receive new vehicles on site and carry out thorough cosmetic inspections. Be proficient in accurately spotting any bodywork or interior trim defects. Quality check to ensure all vehicles meet our high standard of retail products. Understand rectifications required and allocate to best suited department. Be responsible for checking the specification of each vehicle is correct. Uploading specs onto Dealer Management Systems. Checking the operation of the fitted features for each vehicle. Able to work under pressure and achieve volume targets. Opportunity to work with and develop your skills with Hybrid and EV. A keen eye for detail and the ability to carry out work precisely. Follow all safety guidelines and procedures when working with vehicles. Assisting with other tasks if required.

About you:

Working in this busy environment, you will be required to be flexible in your approach, able to work under pressure and achieve volume targets, whilst maintaining quality throughout. Our team prepare our vehicles to a very high standard to be showroom ready, ensuring our customers receive the very best product and experience.

Skills required:

Full UK driving licence is essential to the role as you will be driving manual, automatic & electric vehicles. Experience of using CDK Drive or similar DMS system would be desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided. Able to prioritise own workload and be flexible in your approach. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Hours:

Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17.30 / Friday 08:00 - 17:00

Pay:

Starting salary 29,271.59 per annum
