Mon to Fri working early/late shifts on a rotational basis between 07.00am and 19.00pm

Rate of Pay:

12.58ph

We are seeking a

Vehicle Inspector

to join our team. This is a "hands on" position and you will be working outside, in all weathers, inspecting vehicles prior to despatch so a keen eye for detail is essential. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our car transport services.

Key Responsibilities



Working closely with the on-site businesses, you will ensure vehicles are ready for collection in a timely manner. Liaise with our central traffic department in Carlisle as well as our car transporter drivers Ensure that vehicles dispatched are thoroughly and diligently inspected for damage or defects to the bodywork and trim, relevant equipment is present, and that the chassis number corresponds with delivery paperwork. spare wheels, tool kits, jacks and accessories Support our quality team, ensuring all drivers work to the correct company loading standards and delivery policies. Maintain records of all documentation relating to vehicles dispatched from site.

Skills and Experience



Strong organisational and planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience in transport operations or logistics is desirable. A high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word. Must h old a valid full UK licence.
