Counter & Hire Support - Turriff

Full Time | 37.5 Hours per Week

We're looking for a practical all-rounder to join our busy

Turriff

team in a varied and hands-on role. If you're confident on the trade counter, organised in the yard, and comfortable supporting admin and hire processes, we'd love to hear from you.You'll be part of a hardworking team that prides itself on delivering excellent customer service--face to face, over the phone, and behind the scenes. What You'll Be Doing:

Welcoming customers, answering queries, and providing excellent service Carrying out trade counter sales and supporting other counters when needed Preparing hire equipment for dispatch and arranging PDIs Loading/unloading, cleaning down, and refuelling plant and equipment Delivering and collecting hire items as needed Keeping the yard tidy, organised, and safe Using our point-of-sale and stock systems accurately Replenishing showroom shelves and maintaining clean, well-presented displays Assisting with hire contracts, admin tasks, and stock checks Reporting discrepancies and supporting workshop repairs following damage Supporting colleagues across showroom, yard, and hire admin tasks

What You'll Bring:

Previous counter sales experience (essential) A background in Construction or Groundcare equipment would be an advantage Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive customer relationships IT and admin literacy--confident using digital systems and managing documentation A flexible, can-do approach with willingness to get stuck in wherever needed Good attention to detail and a tidy, organised way of working Team player attitude--you'll help out wherever you're needed
