Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Staff to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service while assisting with food preparation and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Assist in food preparation and ensure all items are presented beautifully. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and kitchen. Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of food handling. Engage with customers to promote menu items, effectively upselling where appropriate. Handle cash transactions and operate the till efficiently. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Manage time effectively to meet customer demands without compromising quality.

Skills

Basic math's skills for handling transactions and managing orders. Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. A proactive approach to helping others, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 44 per week
