Overview

Catch 22 fish and chips, are seeking enthusiastic, mature and dedicated Counter Staff to join our team.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a pleasant experience . Your responsibilities will include taking orders, preparing food items for takeaway, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare food items in accordance with health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area and kitchen. Assist in food preparation tasks as needed. Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate processing of payments. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery.

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing. Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain high hygiene standards. Experience in upselling techniques to promote menu items effectively. Familiarity with kitchen operations and culinary practices is advantageous. Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment is preferred. A helpful attitude towards customers and team members alike.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
