Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Forklift Operator will also be accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle while ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload products from trailers or containers
- Stack and store items in designated areas
- Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory control by counting and recording merchandise
- Follow safety guidelines and operating procedures at all times

Experience:
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Proficiency in materials handling techniques
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus
- Ability to load/unload heavy items safely
- Basic math skills for inventory purposes
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator
- Valid forklift certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Physical stamina and dexterity for prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting
