Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely delivery while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload goods, which may involve heavy lifting and handling of various items. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any issues encountered during transit. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. A valid driver's licence is essential; commercial driving experience is a plus. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous but not mandatory. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service.
