We are seeking a reliable and professional Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely across designated routes. Duties

Safely operate company van, to deliver parcels and goods to clients within specified timeframes Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption Load and unload items, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring items are secured properly for transit Obtain signatures or proof of delivery from recipients and update delivery records accurately Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety standards are met Follow all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries to uphold safety standards

Requirements

Experience as a delivery driver or courier, with excellent driving skills will be preferred Valid driver licence with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving and familiarity with route planning software is desirable Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when required, including loading and unloading goods Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential Organised with the ability to manage time effectively under tight schedules Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality
