Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a valid commercial driving licence, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a van or similar vehicle to deliver packages and documents to designated locations. Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company policies. Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform heavy lifting when required, ensuring that items are handled safely to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and signatures upon receipt. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including loading and unloading vehicles. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driving licence is essential. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks associated with deliveries. Familiarity with warehouse operations is an advantage. A reliable work ethic and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
