Course Coordinator
to help manage and support our academic delivery and student experience.
Position Overview
As Course Coordinator, you will play a key role in the smooth delivery of our academic programmes. Working closely with senior academic and administrative teams, you will ensure that course operations are well-managed, communications are clear, and students receive timely, high-quality support from enrolment through graduation. This is a pivotal role that combines administrative expertise with a commitment to educational service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily operations for courses, including timetabling, assessment scheduling, and internal and external verification completion.
Act as the first point of contact for student enquiries related to academic progress, course structure, timetables and general support.
Liaise effectively with teaching staff, senior management, administrative teams, external partners, and awarding bodies to ensure clear and consistent communication.
Support the planning and execution of induction activities, student registration, attendance monitoring, and course evaluations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including course materials, assessment outcomes, and student data.
Provide administrative support for safeguarding procedures and ensure compliance with college policies and awarding body requirements.
Assist in the preparation and reporting for internal and external audits and inspections.
Collaborate with academic tutors to track student progress and flag academic or engagement concerns early.
Coordinate feedback collection and complaint from students to support ongoing improvements in course delivery.
Represent the College professionally at internal and external events, such as open days, drop-in sessions and quality assurance meetings.
Organise the advice and guidance sessions for students in academic and IT Support.

Requirements
Minimum qualification master's in business, administration, education, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in academic coordination, course administration, or a similar role in further or higher education.
Pervious experience of teaching, learning and assessment in BTEC HND Courses will be preferable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with student information systems or learning management systems (e.g., Moodle).
An understanding of safeguarding practices and a commitment to maintaining student welfare.
Familiarity with awarding body regulations (e.g., Pearson, City & Guilds) is desirable.
