Your role will require a deep understanding and sensitivity to a variety of learner needs. You will be expected to support the delivery team with a range of innovative teaching approaches, all with the aim of empowering learners to reach their full potential.
We seek an enthusiastic, suitably qualified Course Leader for our level 2 and level 3 Engineering courses who will play a crucial role in realising the department's strategic objectives.
What You Will Do
To deliver lively and interactive teaching, learning and assessment to an outstanding standard on a range of programmes as appropriate.
To secure outstanding success for all learners and ensure targets for recruitment, retention, achievement and success, attendance and progression are met.
To support the design and development of programmes in Engineering.
To teach on a range of full-time, part-time programmes at Level 2 and 3.
Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking of examination papers, and developing and preparing flexible learning materials.
About You
To have a relevant Engineering/Manufacturing expertise.
To have or be willing to study for a relevant teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent).
To have industry experience, with current knowledge and the ability to deliver to industry standard.
Be well-organised and able to manage the peaks and troughs of a varied workload.
