The ideal candidate will be based in or near Sherborne (DT9 6FH), with regular travel required to our sites in Taunton (TA1 3PF) and Salisbury (SP2 7EP).

Radish, a well-established and rapidly expanding catering company, is currently recruiting for a Cover Chef / Cluster Site Manager to support three of our key Platinum Skies Assisted living sites: Sherborne (DT9 6FH), Salisbury (SP2 7EP), and Taunton (TA1 3PF).
We provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals to schools and various Business & Industry (B&I) sites across Oxfordshire, London, Kent, Essex, and beyond. As a Cluster Cover Chef Manager, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring each kitchen continues to operate smoothly and maintains the high standards we are known for, especially during staff absences, holidays, or large events.
What We Offer:

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Cluster Cover Chef Manager, ideally based in or near Sherborne (DT9 6FH) due to its central location. You will support operations at our Sherborne, Salisbury (SP2 7EP), and Taunton (TA1 3PF) locations. In this role, you'll cover head chef/Chef manager duties ensure the continued delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide kitchen cover and leadership in the absence of site chefs.
Oversee daily food preparation and kitchen operations.
Maintain food quality, nutrition, and safety standards.
Manage stock control and ordering processes.
Lead and support kitchen teams across multiple locations.
Adapt quickly to different kitchen environments and team needs.
Key Details:
Schedule: 5 out of 7 days (with flexibility for events/occasional weekends)
Contracted Hours: 35 hours per week
Pay: 16.00 per hour
Base Location: Ideally based near Sherborne (DT9 6FH)
Travel Required: Between Sherborne, Salisbury (SP2 7EP), and Taunton (TA1 3PF)
Experience Required: Previous experience as a head chef or kitchen manager is essential. Multi-site or flexible role experience is desirable.
