About the Role

We are recruiting confident, adaptable and proactive Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in and around

Mansfield

. This role is ideal for graduates exploring teaching, experienced support staff ready for progression, or individuals with strong communication and behaviour-management skills.

You will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-planned lessons, and ensure students stay engaged, safe and focused on their learning.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials to KS3 and KS4 classes Maintain a positive, productive classroom environment Support pupils in staying on task and completing work Manage behaviour in line with school policies Record attendance and follow school reporting procedures Adapt quickly to different subjects, year groups and school settings
Person Specification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident leading groups of young people Calm, professional approach to behaviour management Experience in education, youth work, coaching or mentoring is beneficial Degree or Level 3 qualification preferred but not essential Reliable, punctual and flexible
