About the Role

We are seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work with secondary schools in and around

Ollerton

. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, teaching assistants looking to progress, or individuals with experience working with young people who are considering a career in education.

You will supervise classes during teacher absences, deliver set work, and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged throughout the lesson.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre-planned lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Support pupils in completing the work set Maintain a calm and positive learning environment Record attendance and report any concerns to school staff Adapt confidently to different subjects and year groups
Person Specification

Strong communication skills with a confident classroom presence Ability to lead groups of young people professionally and calmly Positive attitude with strong organisational skills Experience in education, coaching, mentoring or youth work is beneficial Degree or Level 3 qualification preferred but not essential Reliable, punctual and flexible in approach
