As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education when teachers are absent, ensuring that students receive the support and guidance they need to succeed.
Responsibilities:
Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects in the absence of regular classroom teachers. Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Provide assistance to students in understanding and completing tasks. Ensure that students adhere to school policies and guidelines. Report any issues or concerns to appropriate staff members. Collaborate with teaching staff to support the overall development of students.
Qualifications:
Experience working in a Secondary School setting in the UK Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning environment. Patience, resilience, and the ability to adapt to different teaching scenarios. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
