We are seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our dedicated SEND team, working flexibly across our two specialist schools, Duke of Lancaster School in Fakenham and Sunrise Academy in Lowestoft according to operational needs.
Duke of Lancaster School supports children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and some Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Sunrise Academy supports students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Both schools are part of the Eastern Education Group Trust within its SEND Cluster, offering strong collaboration, professional development, and shared values. Trauma Informed practice is embedded across the curriculum, and all colleagues receive training and support to use these approaches confidently in their work.
As a Cover Supervisor you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences, creating calm and purposeful classrooms, and supporting high-quality provision across both sites as required.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a calm and consistent approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with young people. Experience working in a school or SEND setting is essential, and good literacy and numeracy are key. You also support classroom activities and contribute to wider school life, including break and transition duties.
Join a supportive, forward-thinking team where every day you can make a genuine difference. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment.
