Cover Supervisors

to work across a range of secondary schools in the

West Midlands

. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to build experience within education, support students' learning, and step into a highly rewarding role.

About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring pupils remain on task and follow the set lesson plan. You do

not

need Qualified Teacher Status, but you must be able to manage classrooms effectively and communicate clearly with students.

Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans left by the class teacher Manage pupil behaviour in line with school policies Support students with their learning and engagement Provide feedback to teaching staff on class progress Maintain a safe, calm and positive learning environment Supervise pupils during lessons, transitions and at break times when required

To work in a UK school, you

must

meet the following:

Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service

(essential)

Right to Work in the UK

Two recent professional references

covering the last 2 years

Clear safeguarding and vetting checks

(carried out by Supply Today) Good spoken and written

English communication skills

Understanding of

safeguarding and child protection

procedures Classroom or youth-based experience (e.g., tutoring, sports coaching, youth work, support roles, mentoring, or similar)
