Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy machinery to perform various tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, as well as the ability to dig and manoeuvre materials efficiently and safely. The Excavator Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.

Duties

Operate excavators and other heavy machinery for digging, grading, and moving materials on construction sites. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to understand project requirements and timelines. Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring that all tools and equipment are stored properly after use. Assist in training new operators or team members as needed, sharing knowledge of best practices in excavation work.

Requirments:

- Blue CPCS card

- Valid right to work in the UK

- Checkable references
