We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home specialising in senior care, including dementia.
The successful candidate must be a Registered Nurse with an active PIN.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a compassionate environment for residents. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the care home team, providing supervision and support to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
Oversee medication administration in accordance with legal and organisational policies, ensuring safety and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Monitor the quality of care provided, conducting audits and assessments to maintain continuous improvement.
Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for residents.
Manage staff recruitment, training programmes, and performance appraisals to maintain a motivated team.
Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
Maintain accurate documentation related to resident records, care plans, and incident reports.
Lead initiatives for organisational development and ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
Managing the Home's budget
Completing audits and reporting as required
Experience
Proven management experience within a nursing home
Extensive knowledge of senior care services including dementia.
Experience in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively.
Familiarity with medication administration procedures within a regulated setting.
Previous involvement in compliance management within a regulated healthcare environment.
Knowledge of relevant legislation such as CQC standards or equivalent regulatory frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives whilst maintaining high standards of resident care. This role is ideal for an organised leader passionate about delivering exceptional senior care through compassionate management and operational excellence.
