. You'll be responsible for operational management, staff leadership, clinical governance, and quality assurance to ensure safe, effective, and empowering support for residents with mental health and personal care needs.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred, trauma-informed, and recovery-focused care.
Act as the CQC-registered manager, maintaining full compliance with
.
Oversee quality audits, governance systems, and action plans to drive continuous improvement.
Manage resident assessments, care planning, medication administration, and risk management.
Promote resident independence, wellbeing, and meaningful engagement.
Lead on safeguarding (DSL), health & safety, infection control, and regulatory reporting.
Oversee staff recruitment, training, supervision, and professional development.
Maintain accurate documentation, audits, and compliance records.
Build strong partnerships with families, professionals, commissioners, and community agencies.
Monitor budgets, occupancy, and resources to ensure operational and financial sustainability.
Essential Skills & Experience
Level 5 Diploma
in Leadership and Management for Health & Social Care (Adults) or equivalent.
3-5 years' management or deputy experience
in adult residential or mental health care.
Proven record of achieving
positive CQC ratings
and maintaining full compliance.

"Train-the-Trainer" or coaching qualification.
Experience supporting residents with dual diagnosis (mental health & substance misuse).
Experience with service development, commissioning, or tenders.
