We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of residential supported living homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, including experience in supported living/ assisted living or care home settings. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a commitment to high-quality care, and the ability to develop and implement effective care plans for vulnerable residents, including those with autism, learning disability, mental health, substance abuse, dementia and Alzheimer's.
Duties
Manage the daily operations of the residential home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
Supervise and lead a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to the needs of each resident (support will be given)
Oversee medication administration and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
Foster a positive environment that promotes the well-being of residents and staff alike.
Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adapt care strategies accordingly.
Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and external agencies to ensure continuity of care.
Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in senior care management.
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role within an assisted living or nursing home setting is essential.
Background in nursing or relevant healthcare qualifications is highly desirable.
Experience in learning disability , mental health, substance abuse is advantageous.
Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Familiarity with medication administration protocols and care plan development is required.
Excellent leadership skills with a focus on maintaining high standards of resident care.

Company Overview:
This is a new company which is starting out in Manchester, mainly in Wythenshawe, Urmston and surrounding areas.
The manager is only required to register with CQC at first, then once a location in Wythenshawe or Urmston is confirmed, the registered manager will commence work 3 days in office and 2 days at home which is optional. Registered manager will need to be available and present for CQC first inspection.
Registered manager will have 3 employees to supervise for 1 home, then additional 3-4 for the second home.
Start date to be confirmed after CQC registration.
Working hours are: Mon-Fri between 10AM-5PM with 30 minutes paid break (32.5 hours a week).
Additional company bonus of 5000 for the registered manager who is committed to help the company grow.
Annual salary is for first year only with 1-2 homes to manage. In second year of operation, the salary will increase to 45,000 annually (without the added bonus) and eventually to 60,000 per year.
Additional Duties/Qualification:
Knowledge with bidding for tenders is desired but not essential.
CQC Approved Level 4/5 in Leadership and Management Certification or equivalent ( for example a registered nurse or other professional bodies
Assist company director/assistant manager to view properties for the SPs.
Negotiate with landlords to ensure the property we obtain is safe and affordable
Mentor assistant manager with necessary leadership skills to gain further experience and knowledge in field
Confidence and experience in speaking with local authorities and sourcing new contracts is highly desirable
