We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our supported living homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in preparing for adulthood, learning disability and autism and mental health conditions, with specific experience in supported living or nursing / residential home environments. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are provided to our residents, including those with learning disability, autism and mental health conditions.
You will lead a team of professionals, manage care plans, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements & clinical governance.
Job description summary / Duties
Oversee daily operations of the care home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for individuals we support.
Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to the needs of each individual we support.
Supervise and manage staff , providing leadership and support to ensure high-quality care delivery.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines in Supported living.
Oversee medication management & training for junior staff.
Conduct regular needs assessments of the individuals we support and adapt care plans accordingly.
Foster a positive atmosphere that promotes the dignity, independence, and well-being of the individuals we support.
Engage with families and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative care approaches.
Provide training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills in supporting individuals with learning disability, autism, and mental health conditions.
Requirements / Person Specification
Full UK Clean car drivers licence
Proven experience in a management role within a supported living or nursing / residential home setting.
Strong knowledge of supported living or residential care practices, for individuals with learning disability, autism and mental health conditions.
Relevant qualifications in nursing, social work or other relevant allied health or health management Essential
Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively.
Ability to develop comprehensive care plans based on individual resident needs.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with individuals, families, and staff members.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality care and compliance with regulations.
Experience in supported living, home care / residential settings is an advantage but not essential.
