Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the crane to site and operating cranes to lift, move, and position materials within our construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of materials handling, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Operate cranes safely and efficiently to move materials as required. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on crane equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate lifting operations and ensure safety protocols are followed. Assist in loading and unloading materials. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while operating machinery.

Qualifications / Experience

Proven experience as a Crane Operator or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with construction sites. Experience in materials handling, including the use of forklifts, is preferred. A valid HGV driving licence. Relevant qualifications for crane operation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
