About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable
Crane Supervisor
to oversee lifting operations on site. You will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and supervising crane activities, ensuring they are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulations.Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all crane and lifting operations on site. Ensure lifting plans are followed and all work is carried out in accordance with LOLER and site safety requirements. Liaise with Appointed Person, crane operators, slingers/signallers, and site management. Conduct pre-lift briefings, toolbox talks, and safety checks. Monitor lifting operations to ensure compliance and safe practices at all times. Maintain accurate records and report any issues or incidents immediately.
Requirements:
Valid CPCS/NPORS Crane Supervisor ticket - essential. Proven experience as a crane supervisor in construction or heavy lifting operations. Strong knowledge of lifting procedures, regulations, and site safety standards. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to read and understand lifting plans. CSCS card - preferred. First Aid qualification - desirable.
