Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Crane Supervisor

to join our team on a construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing crane operations, ensuring all lifts are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with site regulations and lift plans. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a solid understanding of lifting operations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Supervise all crane and lifting operations on site. Ensure that all lifting activities are properly planned and executed according to method statements and lift plans. Communicate effectively with crane operators, slingers/signallers, and site management. Conduct pre-lift briefings and toolbox talks as required. Monitor equipment condition and report any defects or maintenance needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment. Keep accurate records of lifts and related documentation.

Skills & Requirements

Valid CPCS Crane Supervisor ticket (A62). Strong understanding of lifting operations and relevant regulations. Ability to read and interpret lift plans and method statements. Good organisational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and coordination abilities. Previous experience in a similar role on construction sites is essential.
