We are looking for an individual to support the delivery of the regional CreaTech Cluster (www.createchfrontiers.com). This role provides coordination and administrative support across project delivery and events, using tools to maintain accurate records and track progress. Responsibilities include organising and assisting at events, managing logistics such as bookings, catering, and technical setup, and ensuring post-event feedback is collected and reported. The role also supports grant management processes, helps with marketing and communications including website updates and social media, and contributes to smooth team operations by taking meeting notes and following up on actions.

Preparation and delivery of the University's monthly Management Accounts. Responsibility for the budget and five-year forecast. Analysing financial data and generating detailed reports that include stats, visual diagrams and trend analysis.


This role plays a vital part in delivering high-quality financial reporting and strategic analysis at Birmingham City University. You will lead the month-end close process,


prepare detailed monthly management accounts for the University Executive Team, and support the annual audit. The role is also responsible for producing the University's annual budget and five-year forecast, maintaining the long-term financial model, and reporting on income and expenditure variances. You'll collaborate closely with Finance Business Partners, HR, and Payroll teams to ensure accurate reporting on staffing, payroll, and contingency funding. Strong stakeholder relationships and the ability to identify and drive continuous improvement are essential. You'll also support reporting on financial risks and opportunities and deputise for the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis when required.
