Creative Agency Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for someone who is passionate about branding and design, and can work collaboratively in a client-focused environment. Bring your prior design agency experience, interest in being a part of a growing creative team and savvy client partnership skills to Client Engagement within Grit & Pearl, the Creative Agency at Trident.

Your day will be a healthy mix of consulting in project kick-off meetings with clients, planning and managing the presentation of new work, working internal projects with a collaborative cross functional team, as well as completing the administrative tasks associated with managing active in-house work.

We are looking for someone ideally with design agency experience, who embodies client service and project management within a fast-paced environment, with proactive problem solving and cross-functional fluency skills, all performed with polish and professionalism, exceeding client expectations.

This role is permanent and full-time (35 hours per week) with 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.

Key Responsibilities:



Service clients by receiving and aligning to creative briefs, understanding the scope of the work, effectively communicating to the team and managing client expectations. Review projects on an ongoing basis, ensuring deliverables are in line with approved brief, budget and scope. Lead all projects from beginning to end, including design briefing, scheduling, and appropriately using our project management/workflow tools. Support in identifying opportunities to expand our services with our current clients. Co-manage project kick-offs, brainstorming sessions, and client meetings, ensuring a clear understanding of the project and the objectives between involved team members. Lead and document status meetings, including ensuring everyone is clear on what their role is and hold them accountable. Oversee capacity needs, to help identify resources required and escalate when needed. Play an active role in preparing for business pitches and creative presentations. Who are we looking for?



Creative industry experience, in managing projects, budgets and communicating directly with clients. Ability to resolve everyday problems looking at the bigger picture, knowing when to escalate. Competent user of Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, bespoke Trident systems and client specific systems. Confidence to provide quality checks on all design work, to ensure client brief/expectations are met and ensure we maintain a high standard within our work. Ability to brief designers, manage scheduling, and appropriately using our project management/workflow tools. Experience in reviewing projects on an ongoing basis, ensuring deliverables are in line with approved brief, budget and scope. A strong understanding of consumer brands and branding. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability and confidence to share your thoughtful design perspective. Experience in working in a flexible and dynamic work environment, working towards fast moving deadlines. Strong overall project management skills, including experience working within a workflow and KPI management. General knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other applicable creative programs preferable. Commercially astute and ability to identify growth opportunities. Ability to lead projects end-to-end with positive results and outcomes. The desire to upskill and take a proactive role in your development. A cursory understanding of the post design/production process. BA in Business Management, Communications, Graphic Arts or Marketing is desirable. An understanding of account specific financials: creating estimates, managing POs, applying costs and invoicing.
