Based in Musselburgh, we deliver our freshly baked goods daily across Edinburgh and Glasgow, and our wholesale offering continues to grow.

Since our beginnings in 2017, we've expanded to a team of over 60 and serve hundreds of wholesale customers weekly. Our mission goes beyond great food--we're committed to sustainability and building a positive, supportive workplace culture.

The Role

We're on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic Cake and Sandwich Assistant to join our friendly Musselburgh kitchen team. This full-time, hands-on role is ideal for someone who's passionate about both savoury and sweet food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys being part of a collaborative and creative kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble wholesale sandwich orders with fresh, high-quality ingredients Bake and decorate cakes to a consistent, high standard for our customers Pack and label all products accurately and efficiently for delivery Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen workspace, in line with food safety standards Collaborate with the team on new sandwich and cake product development Contribute positively to the day-to-day operations and team culture

What We're Looking For

Some baking experience is essential Prior experience in a professional kitchen, bakery, or food production environment is preferred A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality Creativity and openness to contributing new ideas Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team Flexibility to work weekends as part of a 5-day working week
