Creative Designer

for a

12 Month Part-Time (3 days per week, 1 in office)

contract based in

Derby.

Overview

We are seeking a versatile and highly creative Designer to join our Civil Marketing organisation as part of a job-share arrangement. Working within a collaborative design team of five, you will support a wide variety of marketing and brand activities across the division, as well as global initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact creative projects for one of the world's leading engineering brands.

Key Responsibilities:

Creative Content Production:

Develop high-quality visual content including still imagery, film/video, animations, presentations and digital assets. Design content for industry events such as trade shows and air shows, including purpose-built chalet environments, exhibition materials, and immersive brand experiences.

Marketing & Brand Support:

Work closely with the Civil Marketing team to deliver creative solutions that align with brand guidelines. Produce engaging materials for PowerPoint presentations, websites, advertising campaigns and stakeholder communications.

Collaboration & Project Management:

Partner with external design agencies and third-party suppliers, providing clear briefs and managing the creative process to delivery. Work with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and translate them into effective design outcomes. Contribute as part of a virtual team supporting cross-division and global marketing activities.

About You:

A strong all-round designer with the ability to create impactful visual content across multiple formats. Skilled in graphic design, video creation/editing, and digital media production. Confident working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders. Able to manage projects end-to-end, from concept development to execution. Experience working with design agencies or external creative partners is highly desirable.
