We are currently looking for an Assistant Producer (Talent and Artist Development) to join our Creative Engagement team on a full time permanent contract.



We are looking for an Assistant Producer to support the Talent and Artist Development team in the programming and delivery of events and projects for artists and creatives, contributing to a growing area of Southbank Centre's work.

Our aim is for Southbank Centre to become a centre of excellence for talent development, with diversity and inclusion at its heart. The programme will support talent across music, literature & spoken word and the visual arts, reflecting the main artforms within Southbank Centre's artistic programme, as well as encouraging multi- and interdisciplinary creative practices for those more interested in the behind the scenes roles in the creative industries. This strand of work delivers a mix of youth programmes and courses and development opportunities for artists and creatives.

Key Responsibilities





Provide essential administration support Support and work with the Talent and Artist Development team to deliver a programme of projects and initiatives for artists and creatives, connected to Southbank Centre's programme.

Event management and delivery of rehearsals, performances and some projects.
Support the pastoral care of participants.
Coordinate communication with participants (and sometimes parents/carers) in advance of an event or project.


Skills & Experience





Experience of coordinating live events and/or projects for children, young people, and adults.

Demonstrative written and verbal communication skills.
Has strong IT skills (including Google Drive).
A strong attention to detail.
Demonstrative administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
